Transferring Australian Domains
If you already have an Australian domain (.com.au, .net.au, .org.au, .asn.au) registered with another hosting provider, then you can transfer these to us for hosting in your account. This is a straight forward process, and can normally be achieved within 4 business days.

After selecting the above form, which ever is applicable to your domain name, you will be prompted for a Primary and Secondary Name Server Information. These are the details we send you in your initial account setup details under the sub-heading - "Domain Name Registration & Delegation (Transfer)" .

Transferring US Domains
If you already have a US domain (.com, .org, .net) registered with another hosting company, then you need to transfer it to us for your new hosting account. This is a little more complicated process than with AU domains, and can also take longer. If all goes well US domains can normally be transferred within a week.
The first step in transferring the domain is to find who the registrar of the domain is. The registrar is normally Network Solutions. It is simple to find who the registrar of the domain is, go to http://www.internic.net/whois.html. Once at this address you should input the domain name, and click the submit button. Following is a list of domain registrar's from the Internic website :-

The above information is from the www.internic.net website. When you are at the registrar's web site, you will need to go to their 'Make Changes' area. This is where you need to make the changes to the domain, so it will transfer to our system for hosting. Each registrar's site is different, and hence the relevant section will be different with each registrar. Although each registrar has a different way of making these changes, they are all based around the same kind of system. You will be asked for the domain name you want to make changes to, and your email address. You will then be given the option of changing the contacts for the domains, and the DNS (Domain Name Servers) addresses where the domain is hosted. To host the domain on our system you will need to change the DNS information. These are the details we send you in your initial account setup details under the sub-heading - "Domain Name Registration & Delegation (Transfer)".

You are also able to change other information associated with the domain. As long as the above information is inputted, the transfer will go through. After the process is started, you will be emailed saying that the transfer has not gone through yet. This means that the contacts (Technical and Owner) for the domain are being emailed, and they are awaiting confirmation of the changes. At this point you have done everything you can do to start the transfer.
If your old host provider is any of the contacts for the domain, you will need to contact them and tell them to expect a transfer confirmation and if possible to reply with confirmation of the request. If you are one of the contact for the domain, then you will need to reply to the confirmation email asking you to confirm the changes. The registrar details how to do this in the email itself. Once a confirmation has been sent, then it will be a few days for the transfer to be completed.
Transferring all other Domains

To transfer all other domains names you will need to contact your domain name registrar where you originally applied for the domain name. Otherwise if your old hosting provider applied for the domain on your behalf, you will need to contact your old hosting provider and find out where you can get the information required to transfer the domain.
