SQL Server 7.0 is the leading Microsoft Windows® database, bringing scalable business solutions, powerful data warehousing.
For more information on SQL we suggest you go to -
How to use SQL7.0 on our Servers
1/ To use SQL7.0 on our servers you must develop the database locally on your machine.
2/ You must now upload the '.mdf' and '.ldf' files generated locally to a folder under your root directory on our server.
3/ We need to know the 'Datasource Name', 'User Name' and 'Password' you want to access your database from your web site. Note: The 'User Name' must not exist as a user within your database, otherwise we cannot create a login for the database with the same User Name.
4/ After the database is running, if you need to update the database, we can Backup your running SQL DB to your Directory. You can download the "yourdb.bak" file, and do any changes you require. Then simply upload the new "yourdb.bak" file and we will restore over the existing Database.
Notes:
1/ We do not allow remote access to the server for security reasons.
2/ We do not run clients SQL scripts on the server for Security reasons.
3/ We do not do any editing of client Databases when installed on the servers. See point 4 above of how this is done.
